Slovakian Environmental Agency organised a workshop in Roznava with the purpose of finalising the common methodology and the proposal of the list of indicators for the database.

The objectives of this event, which was organised by the Babes Bolyai University in May 2010 in Baile Felix, Romania were to discuss the draft national analyses in order to be able to finalise them, the state of art on data collection and the structure of common database as well as the proposed methodology of the synthesis of the national analyses. The 2nd workshop gave place for the scoping work of the TICAD SDSS model.

The Project Partners introduced their national analyses according to the joint methodology agreed on the first workshop in Roznava. The development of the spatial decision support system (SDSS) model was introduced to the participating experts of the project.

Based on the results of the third workshop, the Lead Partner (LP) has finalized the synthesis of the national studies and have prepared the corresponding matrix, which is the backbone of the trans-national strategy based on the sythesis, which includes the priorities, objectives and the recommended proposals for all the space categories. The corresponding materials will be finalized by the LP based on discussions and written reccomendations of all the partners involved.

The Slovak Environmental Agency has organised the Fifth workshop in Herľany, Slovakia with the participation of the Lead Partner and the agency. The topic of this event was the strategy building for Hernad River Valley pilot area.

The 6th workshop was held in Baia Mare, Romania, the place that generated a transnational concern for the Tisa Catchment Area due to the industrial accident in 2000.
The topic of this event was the strategy building for the Someş catchment area and an area so-called “ecological corridor” along the Tisa river.

Based on the results of the current situation of the three pilot projects and of the transnational analysis, each coordinating partner elaborated the pilot development strategy. The aim of this workshop was to highlight the main findings of the strategy results in order to finalise all four strategies.

The 8th workshop of the TICAD project was held on 3^rd and 4^th of November 2011 in Levoča, Slovakia, where the partnership discussed topics such as the upcoming work on formulating the Policy Recommendations, the final draft of the Transnational Strategy and the final versions for the three Pilot Projects Strategies.
